Lucy (aka Rosie) reunited with her family

Lucy was found wandering the streets of Memphis by a good Samaritan who took her in and tried to find her home. The vet told us she was about 5 years old. Lucy was fully vetted and was almost ready to look for her forever home when we got a pleasant surprise ...

Lucy's real name is Rosie, and she is actually 11 years old. She had wandered out of her yard one morning last winter just before her dad was leaving for work. Her family searched all over their neighborhood, put up signs and checked the shelter repeatedly. At the same time, the people who found her put up signs all over their neighborhood and checked the newspaper. Ironically, the two families live on opposite sides of a busy road and neither thought that this old girl would cross such a busy street.

Rosie was reunited with her human sister and has now relocated to Mobile.
