Facts & Questions:

1. How do I adopt one of the dogs shown on this site?

Fill out the online application or come to an adoption event to fill out an application in person. In addition to reviewing your application, we will also check your references (either vet or personal depending on your prior pet ownership) and visit your home before approving your application.

2. How much does it cost to adopt?

The cost to adopt one of our rescued furbabies is $200.

3. How can I meet the dogs?

Our adoption events are posted on the home page. If you would like to make other arrangements to meet a specific dog, please email us to make an appointment.

4. Where do the dogs come from?

Most of our dogs come from the Memphis Animal Services shelter. When we have the foster space and funds, we also take dogs from other area shelters or from a small shelter in South Louisiana with which we have a longstanding relationship. Even more rarely, we accept owner surrenders, but in these cases, the owner will be required to give a donation to cover the costs of caring for their surrendered cocker until a new home can be found.
